To facilitate its full open-access model, Sustainability in Civil Engineering journal utilizes a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) structure. These fees are essential for covering the operational costs of the journal, including the management of the OJS platform, professional copyediting, layout design, and the assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs). PT. Cendikia Publikasi Indonesia strives to keep these costs competitive and affordable for the global research community.

Under our current policy, the journal maintains a Submission Fee of Rp 0 (Free). This ensures that there are no financial barriers for authors during the initial evaluation and peer-review stages. A publication fee is only applied once a manuscript has been officially Accepted for publication following the completion of the rigorous review process. For this new engineering journal, the publication fee is set at a standard rate of Rp 200,000 per article.

We also believe that financial constraints should not prevent the publication of high-quality research. Therefore, the journal offers a waiver policy for authors from low-income institutions or those who can demonstrate genuine financial hardship. Waiver requests must be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief at the time of submission and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is to ensure that the APC model remains a fair and sustainable way to support open-access science.
