Archiving Policy
Applied Science in Disaster Journal (ASDJ) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content. The journal applies recognized digital archiving standards to guarantee that all published articles remain permanently available to the public.
ASDJ utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and/or LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, allowing the journal’s content to be preserved and restored in the event of data loss or system failure.
In addition, authors are permitted and encouraged to archive the final published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other trusted digital archives, provided that proper acknowledgment of the original publication in Applied Science in Disaster Journal is clearly stated.
This archiving policy ensures that the journal’s content remains accessible over time and supports the principles of open access, scholarly communication, and sustainable knowledge dissemination.
