Plagiarism Policy
Applied Science in Disaster Journal (ASDJ) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the direct copying of text, ideas, data, figures, or results from other sources without proper acknowledgment; paraphrasing substantial portions of another work without citation; self-plagiarism or redundant publication; and the submission of manuscripts that are substantially similar to previously published or submitted works.
All manuscripts submitted to ASDJ are screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software prior to the peer review process. Authors are expected to ensure that their manuscripts are original and that all sources, including their own previously published work, are appropriately cited.
Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism at any stage of the editorial process will be subject to editorial action, which may include rejection of the manuscript, request for revision, or retraction of the published article. The editorial board reserves the right to take further action in accordance with publication ethics guidelines.
Proper citation of sources and acknowledgment of the work of others are essential components of scholarly communication. By submitting a manuscript to Applied Science in Disaster Journal, authors agree to comply with this plagiarism policy and uphold ethical standards in academic publishing.
