Applied Science in Disaster Journal (ASDJ) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the dissemination of high-quality research and applied studies related to disaster science and management. The journal focuses on the application of scientific, technological, and engineering approaches to disaster risk reduction, preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience.

ASDJ serves as an interdisciplinary platform that bridges theory and practice by publishing original research articles, review papers, case studies, and technical reports addressing natural, technological, and human-induced disasters. The journal encourages contributions that emphasize practical solutions, innovation, and evidence-based strategies applicable to real-world disaster contexts.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, disaster risk assessment, early warning systems, geospatial and remote sensing applications, environmental and climate-related hazards, structural and infrastructure resilience, emergency management technologies, public health in disasters, and community-based disaster mitigation. By integrating applied science with disaster studies, ASDJ aims to support policymakers, practitioners, researchers, and educators in improving disaster management and sustainable development.

Applied Science in Disaster Journal is published periodically and is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics, transparency, and academic integrity to promote impactful and globally relevant research in disaster-related applied sciences.
